About Us

In memory of Guru Ram Chhatpar – Ram Chhatpar Shilp Nyas, India, gives platform for the propagation and development of contemporary Arts and Indian Classical Music.

Ram Chhatpar Shilp Nyas India
Since 1989

Ram Chhatpar Shilp Nyas India was registered on 29 August 1989. After its registration, it formulated aims and objectives to function as an institution for the propagation and development of arts. In the initial years, the Ram Chhatpar Shilp Nyas had many teething problems in terms of space and financial support. What inspired Madan Lal to keep on working for the Trust with complete dedication was the blessing of Prof. Sankho Chaudhuri, his grand guru, as well as the assistance and suggestions of artist friends from India and Japan.

Shilp Nyas is continuously working for the promotion of contemporary arts and Indian classical music. As the Shilp Nyas makes progress, it hopes that Ram Chhatpar’s dream of “being human and working for humanity” will be realized.
